Nominations are now open!

It’s go time:  nominations are now open for the 2009 Manchester Blog Awards. Yay! We’ve already had a few early birds sending us theirs.  No extra points for getting them in early, but respect for  being organised.

Get them in soon by filling out this cunning form and that way you have no chance of forgetting and missing the boat. Sure, you could just nominate your own blog/your mate’s blog in every category, but it’s much classier to take a long hard look at the blogroll and put forward some folks whose blogs you enjoy reading and generally admire.  Go forth and nominate, brethren.

Can’t wait – looking forward to seeing the shiny new Band on the Wall!

There’s no way on earth that BOTW will actually be open by then, it’s been constantly due to reopen for about 3 years now. I look forward to the announcement of the relocation with bated breath!

Paul, I was in Band on the Wall yesterday and saw over the whole place. I now have absolutely no doubts that it will be ready. They’re in finishing-touches stage – and it’s looking beautiful.

Kate – excellent to hear that BOTW is looking beautiful – about time too!
So looking forward to the event – oh and I’ve been ‘classy’ and nominated other people!

Hi folks,

I work at BOTW, have some faith! We opened up on 25th September with a great show by Mica Paris.

Tonight’s Blog Awards will be a good night, hope to see you all there. You’ll agree that it was worth the wait, its such a beautiful venue. Come down early to check out our new bar, The Picturehouse. Open from 5pm.
