Shortlist time

The shortlist is out! Hurrah.  We’re delighted with the high quality and surprising volume of new blogs in Manchester. There were so many good ones about that we had to expand the shortlist to five in each category. One lucky winner will also be selected as blog of the year by this year’s judges, who we’ve also just announced.

If your blog wasn’t among those shortlisted this year, don’t despair -  there’s always next year.

I’ve written a bit about the blogging trends I’ve seen developing this year over on my blog, The Manchizzle (hyperlocal sites, mommy/daddyblogs, and some new foodie blogs). But we’ll be taking a more in-depth look at the shortlist here in the run-up to the announcement of the winners at Band on the Wall October 21.
