The awards evening is a popular event and features readings, music and, of course, the largest annual meeting of Manchester bloggers. This year we have managed to recruit author Socrates Adams, who will read from his forthcoming novel, Everything’s Fine (Transmission Print), and talk about blogging and writing. There will be readings from the winners of The Real Story creative nonfiction competition, and from the best and brightest of the city’s bloggers, stepping out from behind their screens for one night only. Most importantly, we’ll be announcing the winners of the 2011 awards. So come along if you’re a blogger, a reader or a curious onlooker – all are welcome.

Tickets are £5 (£3 concs). They will be available on the door or may be booked in advance. You can book tickets at Quaytickets.com or by calling Quay Tickets on 0843 208 0500.

The Manchester Blog Awards are part of Manchester Literature Festival.
